The chorus of this song came from a dream I woke up to one morning. In the dream I had been surfing a crazy wave to look down and see that I didn't have a surfboard, but instead I was surfing on a spoon. Just as the wave was about to swallow me it turned into a beautiful mist of trees and psychedelic colours. I wrote and recorded this tune the morning of said dream, at my cottage on Sandy Bottom Lake, Nova Scotia
